About the Instructor
Hi, I'm Adam, founder of Choral Clarity. I am a passionate choral director who believes classroom management is the key to running effective rehearsals. Not only do I believe this with every ounce of my being, but I have more than 25 years of experience teaching choir rules to everyone who walks into my classroom.
I've created a blueprint that takes the traditional choral rehearsal and adapts it to today's students. Students today are different than they were 20 years ago.
The 4 steps to choral success (outlined in my book) will work in any high school or middle school, regardless of school set-up.
Over the past two decades, I have modernized my approach to Classroom Management. This approach no longer relies on "Rules", "Consequences", and "Rewards". We live in a world where we want our students to feel safe, supported, and guided.

More About Adam Paltrowitz
I am a current high school and middle school school teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. I believe that every student can learn to sing. As a result, I run a self-selected choral program where students are not separated based on talent/skill level. This has led to a highly-successful program where all students view themselves as soloists and develop a sense of self in their singing. This begins with cultivating a positive learning environment and fostering the skill for each singer to match pitch.
I am also the founder of Choral Clarity, the popular website that consists of 150+ useful blogs and 150+ original choir resources that are available for instant download. I am in the business of inspiring others. I run a highly successful mentorship program for high school and middle school choral directors across the country. My blog, resources, and original choral works have been used at primary, secondary, college, and community choirs around the world. I earned a B.S. from New York University and a M.A. and Ed.M. from Columbia University - Teacher's College.
I am married to Blair Goldberg, a Broadway Actress and labor & delivery nurse, and have two children, Lyla and Nolan. We live just outside of New York City in the beautiful town of Port Washington.
